Post from my politics blog about the Supreme Court’s ruling on affirmative action. Even those of you not living in the US might be interested in it.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know that the Supreme Court ruled in Fisher vs. University of Texas II that affirmative action will remain a key policy in universities across the country.
This means that women and minorities remain protected groups as far as the admissions process goes and get special consideration when applying to schools. So again, who’s got a problem with that?
The conservatives, the Republicans.
